INSPIRE Tour: History in Action

Solidarity in Resistance. Vision in Action. Power in Progress.

This year, the Day of Pink INSPIRE Tour travels across Canada, bringing over free events directly into classrooms & community spaces to celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ trailblazers and inspire the next generation.

From classrooms to community halls, queer and trans voices have always driven change. This tour honours that legacy, marking two pivotal anniversaries in Canadian history:

  • The 50th Anniversary of the Montreal Olympic Raids

  • The 55th Anniversary of the 'We Demand' Protest

But this tour is not just about the pastโ€”itโ€™s about history as an active tool to build a respectful, equitable, and affirming tomorrow.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ What to Expect

The INSPIRE Tour is an immersive experience featuring a brand-new play by Lawrence Aronovitch, short documentary screenings, and interactive discussions.

Our tour brings history to life through art and multimediaโ€”sharing stories of intersectional solidarity and brave activism that laid the foundation for federal equality.

This is not just a show. Itโ€™s a movement to inspire action.
