This presentation will provide participants and opportunity to discuss the importance of representation in comic book and geek culture. This is not about going over which characters are 2SLGBTQIA+ but rather talking about how representation allows fans to feel connected to culture and media.

This workshop talks about how neuro-diversities (mental health) is reflected in comic book culture, and how YOU can be your own superhero when it comes to mental health. Talking to international mental health advocate Hon. Sharon Blady, the presentation goes over-representation of and diversity in comic books.
